I also spent a couple of hours recording with Michael and Justine Thoms, old friends who live in Ukiah and run New Dimensions. One more stop is One Taste, an urban retreat center in San Francisco.

I had trouble getting this book out originally because I keep tripping over myself as… Continue

Dear Thomas, thank you for your interest in my opinion... And yes, I believe one book sounds great. My past is so full of emotion that it can's help but become spiritual. I live in San Diego and would love to see you but being on Disability prohibits me financially. I've wrote to you're website and Hay House for a scholarship or a poss. voulunterer possibility. I'm eagarly awaiting a response. I have many ideas and have GROWN tremendously from your books and look forward to future work on my behalf because of yours. My spiritual well being depends on it...I grew up in Buffalo, NY. Irisha Catholic and all. Looking forward to hearing from you. Maureen Griffin.

I understand that someone asked about my response to the New Hampshire primaries. I feel good about all the Democratic leaders involved. I feel most in tune with Dennis Kucinich, I like Bill Richardson's experience in resolving conflicts through words, I like Barak Obama's spirit and vision, and I think Hillary Clinton would be a very good leader. I have been disappointed in Senator Clinton's votes on the war and other issues. I know she's compromising for effectiveness, but her record worries me.
I live in a very small town in New Hampshire, and yet my teenage daughter heard Obama and Bill Clinton speak in our town hall, and she has a precious photo with Obama's arm around her. The day after the election the candidates had all disappeared.
I feel strongly about recovering the American vision and hope to come out with a book within the next two years on that theme. I'm thinking of an anthology of quotes by a wide range of people about the meaning of "America." It's depressing to run into anti-Americanism around the globe and know that it has been justified by recent events.
