This follows from the last posts in the discussion about Moore's appearance in Erie Here's the place for Barque members to discuss Moore's ideas about the soul, health, illness, medicine, etc. This topic isn't directly addressed in A Life at Work, although an underlying appreciation for how we use/spend/fill our time informs the exploration of our life work.

Thank you, Ken, for checking in with the Barque forum. You are missed. Perhaps all of us could think about our vulnerability and mortality more than this culture seems to consider acceptable. The Buddha offered meditations on the certainties of old age, sickness and death. I support your desire for retreat and look forward to your re-entry to active participation. D.
