Maureen,
While in San Diego in May, I will probably give a talk for a group that has been studying my books. That should be easier to manage. I note it on my web site when it becomes final. Hope to see you there.

Hi Maureen,
I'm drawn to the interests you listed and the way you expressed them. I like the way you put emotion and spirituality together. I think this is crucial. You have to find your place in the cosmos and discover effective ways to relate to the greater world, to realize how much nature can heal and nourish. At the same time, it's essential to learn how to connect emotions with ideas, so that the ideas won't be heartless and the emotions will fit with your ideas and ideals. One way is to keep telling stories from the past, going ever deeper, looking for insight, feeling a stronger sense of self.
Maybe you can help me. I'm deciding now on a new book contract. I'd like to write a book on practicing care of the soul, the kind of thing I was just writing to you. I'd also like to write about "waking up," becoming aware, where to get help, what to do with your increasing awareness. Now, should these be one book or two? I'm not sure that people will be interested enough in this idea of waking up. What do you think?
