Opus course based on A Life at Work will begin on Monday 21 April 2008

We will start the free online course Opus, based on Thomas Moore’s A Life at Work: The Joy of Discovering What You were Born to Do on Monday, April 21, 2008. For forty consecutive weekdays, a passage from the book will be posted with a suggested activity for that day in a Forum Discussion categorized as Opus. Registered members of Barque are warmly invited to reflect on the passage, follow the activity and share their reactions and responses with other members as a reply to that day’s discussion. Only registered Barque members can reply to Opus discussions. All Barque visitors can read the discussions and replies. Now is a good time to invite your friends to join Barque: Thomas Moore, if you think they would enjoy participating in this course. All Opus discussions will be in the category Opus when you click the Forum tab at the top of the main Barque screen. They will display in reverse chronological order.

The course format is based on the thoughtful model used at Spirituality and Practice by Mary Ann and Frederic Brussat. An introduction will be posted on Monday 21 April 2008 with the first passage and activity. We encourage Barque members to buy A Life at Work or to borrow it from your local public library, however, you do not need a copy of the book to participate in this course.

Barque: Thomas Moore celebrated its third anniversary on April 1, 2008 and this free online course is offered to mark this occasion.
