From a Life at Work - The difference between feeling something deeply vs.feeling it strongly

I'm intrigued by this idea which distinguishes feelings something deeply vs. feeling strongly. I'm wondering if feeling deeply might be a water energy, a energy which flows down while feeling strongly might be more of a fire energy moving upward as it's fed by air. The water might flow into the nooks and crannies of the soul, maybe causing some erosion of old beliefs and values, maybe bringing us to edges and frontiers not yet explored.

Julie,
I like your thinking about feeling strongly leading to action. My hunch is that feeling strongly is also related more to thought. Water gravitates to the lowest possible area. It may be loss that deepens us. I see water running down as creating space through erosion, where old beliefs, values and attitudes might be let go. Also, space is created for what may be new.
